On No Mercy where you wait for the elevator in the hospital, there's a little room behind the ammo table where you can just about cram all four survivors - 2 kneeling 2 standing and frag everything until the lift comes. It's like Rourkes Drift in Zulu

Tell people if you are throwing a pipebomb (dumb if another guy is doing the same thing )

I am sooo guilty of the pipebomb error - along with the sin of friendly fire. I usually take aim and someone runs in front - makes me look real bad and I honestly don't mean it.. lol


On a plus point, thanks to my special "bacon / claws" training I now melee special zombies when on a team mate (thanks guys - best advice so far).

I find that my shots are measured with the assault rifle - and I only go for sustained fire when hordes charge from the front (or tank / witch). The Uzi is second favourite - shotgun has too few shots and needs reloading too much for my liking (nice weapon though).

Is it me or are the weapon sounds quite good / realistic in this game?

I have a tendency to try throwing pipebombs but end up attempting to throw a health pack instead!
Love the sound of the assault rifle, my fave weapon. Alternative for me is the shotgun because I always run out of ammo if I use the smg/uzi type gun.
It's a shame you aren't allowed to carry a shotgun as secondary weapon as well as pistols. Oh yeah, a big f*ck off knife would be nice too

I'm all about the auto shotty and dual pistols, with a bit of hunting rifle thrown in for good measure

HAHA Mark - but I only go full auto when rushed by the horde... you won't believe me, but I pick my shots otherwise

Running out of ammo is a killer - I try to keep a full magazine as much as I can. The ammo tends to go when a boomer gets someone and I try to defend

I do it occasionally - if I'm feeling particularly vindictive I'll write my name in their corpse with bullets. Sometimes I'll even run off afterwards to find a molotov then come back and burn the body as well (apparently it stops them respawning)

I've noticed that clip weapons can be magically reloaded while meleeing if you set it going first. If you can keep them off you with about two hits you'll have a full clip to play with.

Also, if a teammate is surrounded by horde, shoot at head height to one side of them. Clears a space for them to run, and if you're close enough, run in and melee the rest to give them a chance to reload.

Chug is correct, reloading continues while ure meleeing, im fairly sure its designed that way and not a bug or anything otherwise you would never get chance to reload when surrounded.

Also you reload quicker if you dont run the gun dry so reloading regulaly is a must.

I tend to favour the auto shotty mainly because i always seem to run out of ammo with the assault rifle, i just dont think they give you enough (but i spray like a twat with it tbh). I gave the hunting rifle some love recently and quite enjoyed it, i think you only need one in ure party but ill start using it more i think.

Rofl, that was the funniest thing to watch, I literrally ran round the corner to deliver some boomer madness (may have been smoker, not sure) Only to see you catapult you're self from the buildin, i rofled to say the least

If there's a witch and you know there's no way way round without disturbing her and there are no specials or hordes around, don't mess about - if you have a shotty, glide up to her commando stylee and pump a round or two into her head before she stands up. If you're lucky one shot will do (CROWND). A second is guarranteed to kill her.
However, don't make the mistake of using an assault rifle like I did or you'll suffer the indignity of an incap and the derision of your team mates
