Not all achievements are bad, actually i like completing them even if there is nothing from it. I also think that getting rewards for achievements (like in TF2) is wrong, players shoudnt be forced to complete them, it should be only an option.

Material is pretty much right - a few people started with the "infection", presumably devs or special folk, upon vomiting on a person you then spread the "infection" - and when that person vomits on another, they pass it on - thus achieving Outbreak (catching it, then passing it on).
A little while ago a lot of people lost the Outbreak achievement for some random reason and are now achieving it for being vomiting on... maybe one of the checks got broken... I dunno.

that kind of achievement started with shadowrun...
you had to teabag a dev(who started with it) and you got the achievement! after that, anyone who teabags you gets it!
its quite a stupid thing to ask of a player but what the hey.. this was during the first attempts at online fps multiplayer for the consoles... not bad really
