I started this poll on NuB server too - I'm just very curious on this subject. http://www.tf2nubs.co.uk/index.php?topic=1799.0I can't see TF2 being replaced! The player limit on L4D is the limiting factor for me.. and zombies are sure to get boring? |

but wanted an option like -
L4D and TF2 can co-exist peacefully.

I agree L4D is awesome at the moment but it doesn't have the grin factor of TF2 also - no sexual material in tf2 for nineblade. |

Hope I'm wrong, but I think it's the beginning of the end perhaps. Valve will probably be concentrating their effort on L4D for a few months at least, and it's easy to drop in with a few friends and get a decent game, whereas TF2 is just an exercise in frustration much of the time. No doubt some of the TF2 servers will switch to L4D, and without new updates it's inevitable the player base won't be what it was.
Having said that, I don't think L4D has the longetivity of TF2, and I'm sure the games can co-exist.

L4D has got the "new" factor, but TF2 has staying power. I can see myself playing TF2 for many years to come where as L4D is starting to get a little repetative already.

There might be diminished activity for a while, but I think the next update (whenever it may be) will tempt people back to TF2 for a play and keep them there for the majority of the time. I think co-existence is about right.

I am going back to TF2 no doubt about that but a week or two off with another awesome game is nice, it's also very nice to have a game to play with a few friends were TF2 isn't that much of a 4 man game.

I'll be playing TF2, at least until Empire Total War comes out. L4D is clever but TF2 is a classic game. Lets hope we get some updates soon
