Thought we could all share odd little TF2 facts / strategies we've picked up.Rocket damage drops off like most other weapons in the game. http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Rocket_launcherShort - 105-112 Medium - 50-90 Long - 45-60 (only learnt this today!)

Damage drop off does not affect engineer buildings.
The Kritzkrieg uber puts out fire instantly, like the medi-gun uber.
Sentry guns cannot shoot through other friendly buildings, even if they are built by a different engineer.
While disguised, if a spy reloads his revolver, the enemy will see him reload the main weapon of whatever class he is disguised as.
Also, perhaps this should be moved to the members' section... trade secrets an' all.

When Sticky-Jumping, a critical sticky will do no more damage to the Demoman detonating it than a regular one.

But will it send him further?

But will it send him further? Nope. Distance is related to the damage you take, hence why detonating when you're closer to the bomb will send you further.

I got nothing to contribute to this thread. The only thing I know is that you move the thing in the middle of your screen over someone else and press a button they die. Or don't in my case at the moment.

The same for Soldiers afaik. You get healed faster by medics the longer you didn't take any damage (24 hp/s if you were hurt 10 or less seconds ago; after that it increases linearly up to 3x (72 hp/s) if you weren't hurt for 15 seconds) Does not apply to dispensers. The airblast range is slightly larger than the flamethrower range. When you are chased by a pyro and have no health, airblast him! Things you can return to the sender via airblast: Rockets Stickies Nades Flare-Gun projectiles Sentry Rockets You can "double"-jump even if you didn't jump in the first place (i.e. walking over an edge, getting blasted into the air), rapidly changing direction and gaining speed.

I am not sure, I just never noticed any difference when I rocket jumped with a critical in damage or range. I could be wrong, dunno.

rocket jumping from the mid-section of a wall and the bottom (corner of it or sumthing) is much more effective, as you can get yourself as a soldier from gravelpit B entrance (one lower, near the A to B tunnel) to the roof if you do it well! much usefull

Pyros can reflect arrows (not actually seen this) Pyros can set friendly arrows alight if the sniper has the huntsman drawn
