My favourite lately has got to be Rob, purely because he's been playing pyro alot. And seeing as lately ive been playing as Scout or Spy, both which require close combat, I've had no chance. Hence why nailing him yesterday as a sniper, his most hated class, was most satisfying.

Also Trigger, always nice to kill a smug person at his best class

And let's not forget the clan leaders! sniping Dave was SO satisfying, especially with Alexis telling me all the curses that he was yelling

I WOULD like to ask Trigger actually, how he manages so many double jumps as a scout? Usually I can damage a scout (as a heavy) even if they get the better of me...but I just can't land a bullet on trigger. How does he do it??

Although most scouts would say it's so hard to aim with him, because of the speed and the need to move, it's actually easier than to aim with heavy. With heavy, if you want to do damage you need to have your target in your aim constantly, with scout, it's rhythmic, you need to aim only when you shoot, for that split second, and you can use the rest of your brainpower on maneuvering. Same with sniper twitch headshots. You need to aim for a split second, not constantly. This is why you will see (if you observe) my sniper aim be pulled BACK from the target quite some distance, before I do a twitch headshot. It's because if my aim is close already to the head of my fast moving enemy, I will inadvertently try and follow his head, something that is really hard to do. If I pull my crosshair away from him, and concentrate for a split second, I can twitch land a headshot.

Ok, reply more concretely: the trick is confidence. Just go in there, and KNOW you will beat your opponent with your magic voodoo, and seconds later it happens. Doubt, second judgment and hesitation are a scout's worst enemies.

Once you have confidence you just need to concentrate on being as erratic and spontaneous as possible. I don't just dodge to the left and right, I do all sorts of crazy jumps, sort of like dance around you. I use air maneuvering a lot. One single jump with the scout allows a solid 90% turn mid air. That means in 2 double jumps I circle jumped you from a fair distance away. Combine that with frequent change of direction, and unexpected crouch jumps over your head, and the hard to keep aim on scout is done!

On another note: wall of text hits you for 200 points of damage!

Don't want to hijack this thread further ... but since I created it, I am sure to find the compassion somewhere deep in my heart to forgive myself.

Anyway. Natascha screws that tacit naught! As a scout you just have to attack from a harder to spot angle. I attack sasha wielders up front (aye, I am cocky), but for natascha I have to flank. Once I am near them, however, they have to shoot at me, to make me slower, and by that time they are usually one-two shots from death themselves. In worst cases I survive with 15-30 hp. Which is good.
