Is there any way to have a vote scramble on the server because I just played a map where one team totally dominated the other (I was on the loosing team).

Don't get me wrong, I can lose without complaining, but this was ridiculous, when they were attacking we lost in less than a minute, no joke, you could hardly even leave spawn while we were "attacking". I feel that for when there are no admins on it should be possible to vote for a scramble of teams.

Thoughts?

Yeah, Scramble was deffo needed tonight, we were steamrolled for many games in a row. Not that i was playing seriously, was just trying out my  http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/ocz_peripherals/nia-neural_impulse_actuator now that the 64 bit drivers are out .

Just give me a button that kills spawn killers. We all like the odd raid on spawn but persistent camping just ruins the fun.

Kick vote...no we haven't had anyone that would need a kick in a long time and if we did have one there is nearly always an admin online, contact them.

I'm not against a scramble option, but I kind of think it's the wrong way of solving the problem.

We have needed 'scramble' a bit more than usual recently. Although the majority of players are absolutely fine, there are a one or two who are very selective about which team they join, or who only like to play with their mates.

So in general, I'd like to encourage people to switch if games are getting totally one-sided. I know it's a pain to join a team that's going nowhere, but it really can be turned around with just one player. Suddenly you get a few kills as a soldier or demo, and then another guy realises he can now play medic, and before you know it the whole battle has changed.

Is it possible to force people to auto assign? (that would be a neat solution)

Maybe, but I don't like that solution either (for example, if red and blue both have 8 but blue is dominating, I'd like people to have the option to join red) Smiley

This situation will get better when we have more of our regulars / clan members back on at the same time. The clan generally change sides when its a bit unbalanced and things normally even out as well.

I agree with Claws - I see some regulars choosing their side on a map instead of auto assign. I'd like to see much more auto assign and the willingness to switch over (but, I'd never force any non-clan members to do this against their will).

Dave and I will discuss the scramble mod when both of us are back on full active duty.

We won't be adding votekick for non-clan members tbh. Admins are generally accessible via steam friends etc.
