within days people had adjusted to it and it was fine. it will be the same here. pyro's will just spy hunt longer.
The thing is, I don't want to hunt for the spy even longer than I have to already. I mean detecting a spy is not that hard anymore, since most of them got quite bad at blending in after they got a free second chance with the dead ringer.
And you shoot at him, he isn't dead of course, so you have to look for him coming for you again in the next couple of seconds, then you "kill" him again, then you have to wait, then you "kill" him and so on. It's not even a real opponent, it's just a constant annoyance, like a button that you have to push every 10 seconds to not die.
He either stabs you, which you can't really prevent if he did his job (which is possible without the dead ringer) or he will be a pain in the ass without doing any real damage. Making him stronger against the single counter class that is left to stop that from happening is just moronic. Don't forget that the spy already got a strong ranged weapon to kill the pyro from outside of his reach while charging his cloak with one of the last updates already. Fuck if I know what that gun is called, there are hundreds of them now. Now add another spy with the same setup and it's just getting stupid.
I don't mind if a spy gets a drop on me and kills me because I didn't realize he was a spy. But nowadays it's just a guy, who is running at you backwards, turned away slightly, because he is "legit". Obvious as hell, but he doesn't care, because he is immortal. As he gets closer to you, you can see his path change as if you have your own graviational field. Then, even as you are looking right at him, he stabs you anyway, because he can get away with it. Pshhh.
One day the heavy will get a rocket launcher, then you'll understand.
P.S.: And yeah, saharan spy is ridiculous, because it, again, enables the spy to do something that he only could pull off earlier with a lot of skill. Now you chainstab people, without anyone knowing that you did it and you are immediately disguised again, so even if people turn around to see wtf is going on, they won't see a disguising spy. Sure, you can shoot the guy who is behind you, JUST TO BE SURE, but then, see my second paragraph.
