Have ur opinion. Did it encourage team play and give people the chance to try something different? Or did it go too far and throw team balance out the window?

Was a great laugh, and I enjoyed seeing people outside of their comfort zone (mainly people playing Medics!).

Plus, I've managed to push Spy played time above the bottom 3 now which I didn't think would ever happen.

Great night!  Booze + microphone requried for next Saturday I think.

I think that it was a really good idea as it means that you can try other things out without fear of failure. Personally, I am not fussed about stats anyway (as you can probably gather from my deaths per kill ratio) but the night creates a good atmosphere in general and makes it more enjoyable. I say it was a success.

I thought it was a great success, quite refreshing from just playing medic and demo. Helped me raise my most points for 3 different classes

I personally liked the event, but to avoid the novelty wearing off I'd probably like to see a fortnightly event maybe? I have been surprised at how popular the event was, so I'd be happy to go with what the troops are happy with

Well, I have to say (as someone whoses idea it was) that just maybe it went on too long. Speaking as a player who struggles outside his specialisations, it started to wear towards the end. I like Junta's suggestion of once a fortnight. I was going to suggest limit it to a couple or three hours only.

I'll be the awkward one (as usual!) - to be honest, I found it pretty frustrating. There was no team balance, we always ended up with 5 spies or 5 snipers, and I spent most of the night thinking 'god, we really need some soldiers/medics/whatever'. It probably depended when you joined and which side you were on too. I know I'm totally in the minority on this one, but that's my 2p's worth anyway

I never have a problem with people being honest . I agree that it was tough at times because of the unusual balance of classes. In some cases it worked because both sides were a bit ineffective, other times not so good. If we were to organise a fortnightly event (and time limit it from 9pm to midnight) then we might be able to get some balance between regular normal play and a fun stat free event. In any case, we may have to talk to clan members about getting a second "fun" server for this kind of activity on a regular basis (leaving the main server for more dedicated serious play).

Since I am new I just flick between the classes as demanded by the game and suck equaly at them all, but I thought it was a good idea for people who care about there stats.

I really enjoyed it. Got the chance to try some stuff i wouldn't usually without messing up stats. LOL when the hell did I start to worry about them!!!!! hilarious. It did mean however that when I thought we needed an engineer last night, rather than just muttering about I changed class and had a go. Really enjoyed that too. so all good i thought. Every week would be a bit much imo but every couple all good. Now if i could only figure out spy..... :

I enjoyed it mainly because the thing that stops me tryin out other classes is gettin tuned in off ppl playin their chosen class, the stats free meant other ppl were also playin other classes so gettin a good hiding wasn't always the case! and I backstabbed Dave a couple of times even tho his sg kept doin me in!

I'm going to have a good spy session tonight to compensate for not being around, I think. Not sure I can make it this week either...

I think there's an answer emerging here - it's a good idea but not every week. A once in a while party mode. Guess that makes us all a bit boring but, what the hell, it's our server!
