I downloaded it at i43 for the free promo items, but we couldn't log on then (busy server lol).
I have tested it since (there's something to be learned about curiosity and cats here I'm sure), and found it to be adequate. To be fair, I've not yet left the newbie area, so couldn't say if the real deal is worth it, but I liked what I've seen so far.
The Idea is that you have a persistent world where you get quests, gear and do the social interaction stuff, and then instanced "fight zones", which are basically FPS with some scripted sequences. The transition from Overworld to Instances is kind of a big break in immersion, which leaves somthing to be desired. (WoW is a bit better in that regard.) You request creation of instances yourself and can join running ones, possibly with friends. Somewhat like L4D lobbies I guess...
The combat is fairly solid, I felt a bit overpowered as a starting character, but hey it's the noob area to get people hooked, kinda sensible to make them feel badass...
Storywise, I kinda like the dialog and scripts, the world feels coherent (again, so far...). No Idea what the episodes are gonna be like.
I'd give it, say, a solid 73%
