Although I'm not a keen photographer, I've ended up with over 5gigs of photo's over the last few years and they are all in random folders on my pc.
Does anyone know of a decent bit of software to catalogue and tag lots of photo's quickly and cheaply? I'm not to worried about editing but the ability to crop and remove redeye would be a bonus.

ACDsee, Google Picasa, Infran ThumbView or whatever it's name is. I only used ACDSee and Picasa so far - both very similar, but Picasa is free, I think.

Picasa is a nice free bit of software from the Goliath that is Google. Nice time line view and some freebies that will even correct red eye.

I have Picasa for storage and viewing, the other is to do what photoshop does and that is called Gimp.
