Because of you lot I bought it.... why not.
Can someone explain to me though.... if I'm not allowed to bleeding kill anything how do I progress?
I feel like everything I do gets me in trouble? so I've read that some people avoid killing things to keep the AI level low.... HOW ?!?!
I see the goal is 'kill enemy central thingy' but scout ships (even the capital ones) don't really gets past a gate or two without dying... so the only way to do it is to get into every system? well that means killing the ai... yet from everything I read you're meant to avoid that.... ?
Surely that's like trying to make a sandwich without hurting the bread?
Certain actions you do in game result in increasing the AI progress. For example if you destroy and capture an enemy planet that increases the AI progress a lot - but if you just kill all the ships there, build a whole load of your turrets (to stop them spawning new ships), kill the warp gate (increases the AI a little bit - but stops them from sending waves to you) then that planet is no longer a threat.
It's all about picking and choosing which planets you need (that have resources or strategically useful planets) and which ones you dont (and just kill everything on it except the command centre to keep AI progress low)
