I'm a massive fan of Pendulum but am skeptical of their new CD, which I'm considering buying; but don't want to waste money if it's shit. Has anyone got it? What do you think? I realize it's nothing like other DnB but that's good for me because I never went mad on DnB, just Pendulum.

Can't you youtube the songs?
They're mostly terrible recordings, like they've been recorded through my PC mic through a cats arse. And I would know about cats arses. |

Actually listening to it right now. It's pretty varied, from some serious DnB to more rock-like tracks. There's some tracks I skip because they're just simply not my taste, but there's others on there that are brilliant.

Not the kind of music I like.
But after skipping through some of the songs I agree with Twig that the latest album has more variation than the previous ones, but also appears to be geared towards a more "commercial", mainstream sound. As such I found it to be an improvement, but I'm not sure a fan of the older albums would agree.

Listened to the most of it now through RCT's link (Cheers mate) Have to say I really like about half of it, some bits are a bit crap or weird but nothings perfect.
I don't have a problem with their move to mainstream because a) It was inevitable and b) I don't actually mind capitalism. Sure it sucks at time but the alternatives are far worse.
