Still rubbish after all these years

The "play"-command let's me play any kind of wav- or mp3-files stored in the "sound"-folder.
Works fine when I'm on an created server, but fails to work when I'm on a regular server.
I get either a "Failed to load"-error or - most of the time - no error but the file doesn't play.  Shocked
Any idea why? Server-setting?

I think it's because it's searching for sound files on the server you're playing on.
